We are a small non-commercial & experimental brewer of traditional English ales, beers & meads located in the Cambridgeshire countryside

with a modern interpretation, our recipes & techniques are inspired by brewing traditions and methods from the mediaeval alewives to 18th & early 19th century farmhouse brewing

Visit our history page for the story of the Jolly Farmer, with its roots traced back to before 1720, farmhouse brewing, becoming a Beer House, then a Public House, destroyed by fire and rebuilt, and finally closing 1955.
